This WebQuest has 6 steps, which need to be completed in order. Complete each step thoroughly before moving onto the next step. Reference the rubric (which can be found in the Evaluation tab) to make sure you complete all the steps of this WebQuest to the best of your ability.

Step 2 - Group Work: Create Survey Questions for Your Classmates
As a class, we will conduct a survey on the topic of digital citizenship. This survey will be distributed to all Middle School students. As a group, compose 4-6 survey questions to ask your classmates. We will review all groups' survey questions and decide which ones should be included in the survey.

- You should ask about students' habits online, cyber-bullying, digital footprints, and related topics
- You should have a variety of question types (not just true/false or multiple choice)
- Each member will need to submit their group's questions individual using the Notes option in Seesaw.
Step 3 - Group Work: Create a Questionnaire and Interview a Student Involved with Cyberbullying
As a group, compose a short questionnaire about cyber-bullying. These questions will be compiled with the rest of the class's questions and used to interview students about cyber-bullying.

- Describe the details of the event
- How could the event been prevented?
- What were the consequences of the event?
- How has the event changed the person?
- Questionnaire should be about 6-10 questions in length.
- The interview will be anonymous - real names will not be used.
- As part of the survey in step 2, students will be asked if they ever experienced cyber-bullying, either as the bully or the one being bullied. These students can volunteer to be interviewed as part of step 3.

After completing the student survey and interview, review the data that you collected. Based on the information you read in step 1, along with the data that was collected in steps 2 & 3, compose a discussion question for your classmates that digs deeper into the topic of digital citizenship. You will post your discussion question and respond to at least four other students' discussion questions. We will use Seesaw to facilitate our online discussion.

As a group, you will present to your classmates. Your presentation needs to address the four main questions of our WebQuest (at the top of the page). You can use PowerPoint, Prezi, or any other acceptable presentation tool.

- Are our students aware of the consequences (in and outside of school) for inappropriate online behavior?
